Himachal is devastated! 7 members of the same family lost their lives when the temple collapsed due to heavy rain. This tragic incident happened in Shimla. Among the dead are 3 children. Shiv Bawadi temple collapsed in Shimla due to cloud breaking rain. At least 15 people lost their lives in the incident. Out of which 7 are from one family. 8 more people are feared to be trapped.

Rain-ravaged Himachal has caused damage of around 10,000 crores. At least 74 people have lost their lives so far in the last 4 days. In Shimla alone, landslides occurred at 3 places. Landslides occurred in Shimla’s Summer Hill, Phagli and Krishnanagar. Where 21 people lost their lives. Heavy rains have caused flooding in Himachal’s Kangra. 1000 people have been rescued from flood-hit Kangra. The death also occurred in Chamba.2 deaths were reported from Chamba. It has been raining since Sunday. Which caused disaster. The Indian Army, Air Force and other rescue teams are carrying out the rescue operation. Monsoon entered Himachal on June 24 this year. Since then around 217 people have lost their lives in Himachal.
